Blood collection devices work to collect blood from patients at hospitals, clinics, and other medical institutions and prepare for medical examination. When taking blood, pay attention to details, work with pressure, work with excellent manual flexibility, good communication skills, and work with people.
As blood collectors collect blood and risk exposure to various diseases, they need to undergo safety training in the laboratory and pay strict policy and attention to ensure safety and patient safety.
No previous medical experience is necessary. Our course offers extensive training on the knowledge and skills necessary for successful blood collection.
For details including course details and medical and English requirements, please read the details section.
Every student must take our new blood preparation course. It will be held on 2 nights and 1 Saturday several weeks before your blood sampling course. In preparing for the course, we can see that in most cases, we are struggling with the blood division course so that the students can help with phlebotomy well. When you sign up for the blood collection course, a preparation fee ($ 195) will be added to the shopping cart.
If you wish to bring a cashier's check or money order to your blood collection plan, you must include a blood preparation course for a total of $ 2,070. Students who participate in the payment plan need to pay the cost of the initial payment preparation course.
The course includes guidance guidance (in the classroom) and clinical rotation (at the hospital). Instruction instructions are completed in 8 weeks. Clinical rotation starts from about half of guidance guidance and may last for 12 weeks. Clinical shift is organized in class
The first two weeks of the class will be held from 6 pm to 10 pm Tuesday and Thursday evening and Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm.
For the remaining 4 weeks, courses are held every Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm. Through lectures, interactive presentations, skill labs, and simulations, you will acquire knowledge and skills to provide blood sampling to patients. You first venipuncture the manikin and then venipuncture each other before you begin the clinical phase.
The clinical phase begins at the third week of the course guidance stage. Available shifts include daytime, evening, weekend shifts (apart from classroom time). At the clinical stage, you will see the UCLA hospital and the affiliated community clinic in turn. You operate on a one-on-one basis under direct supervision of the laboratory supervisor and / or authorized blood drawing instructor to draw blood from the actual patient.
Venous incisions are often planned for one year, but this varies from school to school. Certain states require certification. This usually requires not only completion of the IV Cut Certification Program but also some certification examination including some clinical experience (such as internship) followed by the Written section and practice section. Prove the effect of blood sucking. Because the average annual salary is over $ 85,000, radiation therapy is one of the most expensive medical technology positions in the United States. Besides that, the US Bureau of Labor Statistics expects employment in this sector to increase by 13% in 2016 and 2026. This far exceeds the national average. This is an advantageous and attractive field, but registration requires a lot of education and clinical investment. Fortunately, there are several high-quality, low tuition schools that offer a flexible way to meet these stringent requirements.
An important aspect to consider when selecting phlebotomy plans is authentication. Once the project is certified, an independent independent organization will evaluate the project based on various criteria such as strength of the course and teacher quality, and judge that the project meets high standards. Course recognition helps students receive high quality education and ensure that they are well equipped in the workplace. An excellent source of information on blood collection education programs is National Institute of Clinical Laboratory Science (NAACLS). We play a leading role in certification and approval of clinical laboratory science and other similar health education programs. Individuals trying to participate in the blood collection program can search for programs approved and approved through the NAACLS website.
