Personal Writing

Personal writing I participated in the swimming department of Southwark Island when I was 4 years old. The swimming pool is fairly wide and rarely crowded, this is comfort for me. On the seven islands there are many other activities besides swimming, but I did not choose to swim myself. I started in a shallow pool opposite the club's first day. I already know two people who came with me.

Personal sentences are subjective (not based on facts and evidence, but based on personal opinions and emotions). When you write personal essays, your writing is based on your own observation, experience or opinion. Provide your personal opinion on the matter, record what you observed, record the observations, relate the topic to your own life, share stories, or explain people, places, things, or events Writing task to ask you to do. Personal opinions and stories articles are also categorized into this category, as are some reflexive articles. If you wrote a paper on what you did during the summer vacation or comment on the problem, you already have written a personal paper. Personal writing asks what you think about the topic or what you observe or experience

Below is a sample of personal lighting showing some of the principles outlined in our "personal lighting" mini course. Please note how it started out from personal memories (a shoebox filled with war photos taken by the writer's father). There is contradiction in memory. Pictures affect the author. Because they seem to expose him to war (World War II) and bring war into his own experience. But he also felt arrogant from the war, as his father actually participated, and they realized that these were "only" pictures and not genuine. The problem then arises: Can the picture bring the reality closer, or can you keep the reality away from the reality? From this point we can also ask: Can people in the field war can figure out what is happening around them?
