I learned that two people can see the same in high school class, but everyone saw something very different. My childhood and adolescence in my suburbs, my teacher (I) is white, privileged and caressing. Most of the students in my class are black or brown, poor, mostly growing on their own and living in a cruel street. They opened their eyes (contrary to my intention, undoubtedly against my "fool") and turned to their alternative society. I understand that this hidden society is invisible and largely ignored in the massive normal American law, school, profession and family society; attention to the general community relates to attention only.
A few weeks ago, I tutor taught a student who came to me with her personal statement at a dental school. Born in Pakistan, she lived there for a lifetime and recently moved to America with her family. In her personal statement she did not mention about her cultural background or ethnicity. After finishing this article, she told me about her growth experience and recent move to the USA. When I was asked to 'play' the fact that I was an Egyptian, I noticed that I was taking some unfavorable factors to show what I accomplished, In terms it is unfair. As a minority, it is unfair to expect that I have some painful background stories, which is unfair for those who actually have trauma in their lives.
What is the difference between the target statements and individual statements? The source has not yet reached consensus on the differences between personal statements and objective statements. Personal statements should explain your personal history and past experiences more and it has been told that the statement of purpose is to be more future oriented and to use special words of future work . Others say personal statement should be more attractive, autobiographical, anecdotal, and the statement of purpose should be more direct and closer to your academic research. Even if the explanation is not included in the main hints, the instituting organization may be able to provide advice on how to make and what to include in the application.
Some programs require personal statements and statements of purpose / intent. In this case, the personal statement may focus more on your life experiences and personality assets, and the objective statement will focus more on your academic / research experience and objectives. However, there is not necessarily a boundary that is difficult to separate between personal statements and statements of purpose. These two kinds of statements should cover much of the same topic, especially with regard to your future goals and valuable assets you will bring to the program. Some courses require personal opinion, but their hints will focus on your research and professional experience and interests. Some ask for a statement of purpose, but that tip will focus more on your general life experience.
