This article explores the philosophy of personal care that I am planning to convey during nursing. I believe that the essence of care arises from commitment to public services and undeniable desire for helping people in need. Care focuses not only on treating diseases but instead on offering individual high-quality patient care tailored to each patient. The concept of my care incorporates medical knowledge and ties it with consideration, considerate care and respect for the dignity of each patient. I think care is comprehensive and I think that patient's value should be respected. An important aspect of medical care is the relationship between experts, and collaborative work among medical professionals promotes high-quality patient care. Personal care philosophy and application of nursing theory My personal care philosophy is made up of three main principles of compassion, sympathy, and patient education. After learning about nursing theory, I discovered several nurse theorists who resonate best with my personal care philosophy. These include Dorothea Orem's self-care model, Jean Watson's Human / Super Personal Care theory, and Imogene King-Conceptual.
Introduction In this article we introduce the famous philosophy, including personal definition of four care phenomena including people, environment, health, and care, and the philosophy of my personal care. The unique contribution of philosophy is in the education of nurses and teachers as well as the development of nursing theory and research. More importantly, philosophy strongly influences the formation of personal values, and in fact it emphasizes all the promises of nurses.
The motivation for this article is to focus on nursing theorist Florence Nightingale and my personal care philosophy. This article will further explore the personal care philosophy I am planning to do during nursing practice. In this article I also compare my philosophy with the Nightingale philosophy of Florence and combine my Betty Neuman's system model with my philosophy. Execution of the four meta paradigm concepts of people, health, environment, and care
