The important difference between personal narratives and memoirs is that personal narratives usually cover a single event and memoirs cover multiple events on a single topic. A personal story communicates the story of the talker's life, including his experiences, thoughts, emotions, and reflections, and memoirs contain information beyond this scope, including the direct knowledge and experience of the talker. Therefore, personal stories are also memoirs, but memoirs are not necessarily personal stories.

It is finally here. Things are going well: I have money, dreams and the whole future. Now I am a drunk liar facing the time of criminal charges and imprisonment; unfortunately, I am 19 years old.

The dominant "family" story spreads widely in our society and is used in some way by participants to build a story of important social relationships. Even in non-family relationships, I will explain the story of my family by explaining my close friends such as mothers and sisters. Family stories provide a familiar identity in relation to a central family. As a mother or son, the husband or wife's identity provides a well-defined subject position within a personal story of social relations. In these positions there is a set of rights and responsibilities that provide the basis for evaluating family behavior. The role and responsibility of the story of this family is consistent with the particular old story that many participants draw. This story talks about the physical decline of the elderly and the necessity of care for others. People strongly hope that the family will provide this care in some way
