Personal stories - Meeting strangers through strangers is often embarrassing to meet with strangers, but if given it can be a different moment where strangers can change your life there is. About 6 years ago, I was a photographer at Sears Portrait Studio. As a photographer, I always meet new and interesting people. Our work is predictable mainly because it shoots kids; it changes with the exception of one day. As the elderly couple approaches, I am working at the front desk.

Leslie Jamison: From the beginning, I wanted to write a book that worked like a meeting - writing the story of others' ideas (the idea of ​​contacting a stranger's life) and stories (from life to stories). For me, this book is made up of many individual stories that are woven together - it creates a more cohesive structure of bigger stories important to me. Scale of many stages and scales, the scale of the specific life between the 20th century and the American culture and the public imagination. I hope that this book will change to revive the conference between individuals and society; I hope that it feels like a conference-like collection of sounds.

I read Jonathan Edwards's "personal story" and decided to stop reading after reading a few pages of his flame and sulfur speech "sinners in the hand of angry god" . "My ear rang at once, in George Whitfield, a person said" I will create a religious belief in a new way in my own way ". I strongly agree with this. Compared to the part of Witfield's speech about video, I can hear Edward's long, somewhat monotonous or too fine writing and tone differences (one in video format and the other in paper, but I I think right now I saw Edwards in "a personal story" and probably emphasized possible reasons for his new religious feelings, in addition to his religious zeal.
