Personal Narrative: My American Dream

Everyone in the American dream has an American dream that they pursue, realize and want to live. Many people write their own goals for themselves to realize their dreams. Endless goals vary from academic to personal. Like today, I realized my dream. My American dream is to become a nurse, travel to many places, have family, and more about God. Since I was young, I would like to enter the medical field. My grandmother used to work in a hospital once, and I always wanted to work with them.

What is the overall concept of an American dream? America 's dream is to live in the United States and achieve the goal of life. These goals vary from person to person. Personally, my American dream is to own a beautiful home and car while cultivating my family and keeping economic stability. I would like to enjoy my freedom given to myself and live my life with a safe feeling. My dream is just one example of the various dreams shared by people living in the United States. But everyone can do it, but dreams are not always realized. Many factors like racial discrimination in the place you live, money you were born, and even sex can reduce the possibility of your dreams. These factors make people feel that America's dreams are getting worse and farther. Finally, if you believe in American dreams, you can achieve it.

My vision for the future of America 's dream is that we have citizens and governments, their personal problems and government problems are consistent with this dream. During my lifetime our citizens and the government forgot to lose America's dream. I personally think that this occurred around 1980. At the time, our citizens thought that our government is not a solution to our collective challenge but our government. Our government is built by talented people, and I am definitely a woman, it gives us a comprehensive understanding of American dreams.

My American dream interpretation is a comfortable life. "That's gone", yes, that's fine, but I really do not think about the ongoing struggle of American dreams. For me, America's dream is to hope that opportunities will be equal for everyone to gain new opportunities and be able to offer for themselves and their families. I witnessed many people living the American dream, and one of them occasionally worked with my father. His name is Geok. Desiring to live better, Geok traveled from Malaysia to the United States with his father and brothers and sisters. His father sacrificed a lot for him and now he continues to sacrifice a lot for his children and his wife. Geok has four children. Their names are Kenzen, Kenzie, Kenzai, and the youngest Kenzhou. Thanks to their efforts these children have offered more opportunities. This proves that you can live an American dream after immigrating from another country.
