This is a review of the Journal of Human Communication Research (HCR). It will be issued every quarter from September (fall) to June (summer). The ongoing review is in volume 22 and continued from September 1995 to June 1996. This journal incorporates the viewpoint of behavioral science into human communication research. Research fields include interpersonal relationship, organization, mass communication, methodology, information system, and persuasion. HCR is a journal that recognizes that the world is evolving and communication studies must do so in order to gain a clearer understanding of the current critical issues and the needs of the situation.
