The history of the Periodic Table of the Elements Dmitri Mendeleev and the early periodic table Dmitri Mendeleev was born in Tobolsk, Siberia on February 7, 1834. The periodic table is a way to list elements. Elements are listed in the table by atomic structure. This includes the number of protons in the outer shell and the number of electrons. From left to right, from top to bottom, the elements are listed in order of their atomic numbers, and the atomic number is the number of protons of each atom. Elements are periodically arranged, so they are called "periodic". Elements from left to right are ordered based on their atomic numbers (the number of protons in their nuclei). We skip several columns so that elements with the same number of valence electrons line up in the same column. If so arranged, the elements of the column have similar properties.

Elements are summarized in a special chart called periodic table.
