Perceiving Reality Through Art

Every form of art exists in some way. Because human regards reality as truth and thinks of all other reality as a lie. Many people view art as a reflection of life, counterclaims of life reflecting art are equally supported. In either case, one side is "real" and the other side is "lie". This is because the work reflecting the other is a lie, art is a lie to life if art reflects life, life is a lie to art if life reflects art is.

Art is common as a way to get rid of reality and it is the key to unleash some of the hidden meanings surrounding our world. In the kind of art like Surrealism, this is not completely true, the boundary between reality and art almost disappears. Several realistic disciplines clearly focus on making artworks that resemble real images, and some of them are even more advanced. Thinking that it is an effective improvement of photorealism, the newly developed style still has some nuances from its predecessors. Since photorealism is aimed at reproducing pictures as accurately as possible, it is impossible to distinguish between the original picture and the final picture with human eyes. Surrealist further developed this method. Instead of losing "personality" like photographer's work, they developed a way to incorporate stories, charms, and emotions into paintings. So how far is that?

Art has a way to transcend words. Throughout the picture, Pablo Picasso can violate logic, Salvador Dali can challenge reality, and Vincent van Gogh can despise feelings. Art attracts a sense, so it has ability to tell you what you can not do. Statistics may affect your mind, but the fact that art can be acquired aesthetically has recently been described as "collaboration between artists and designers from around the world to sacrifice the earthquake in Haiti" It was highlighted by the Haitian poster project being done. Artists were asked to design a poster conveying this painful national dilemma story, and the sales revenue of these limited edition works directly for relief works in Haiti through Médecins Sans Frontières.

As we know, art is a deep personal trial of the world around us. The reality of suspicious concepts is rarely involved. Sometimes it is abstract, sometimes surreal, sometimes beautiful, but often its essence. I believe art is a true history of the world and artists are the only true historians in the world. Given the main forms of art, visual (painting, photography, movies), sound (music), and sentences (poetry, prose), they all evoke emotional reactions appealing to the audience.
