Pearl Harbor

Pearl Harbor is one of the worst attacks against American soil. A sudden attack occurred in Japan on Sunday morning, 7th December 1941. Japan wants to destroy the US Pacific Fleet and destroy the possibility of a counterattack from the Pacific Ocean. The response of the United States was the creation of a Japanese American camp that eradicated tens of thousands of Japanese American families. Later, the United States decided to terminate the war with Japan by the atomic bomb. The tension between the US and Japan began in 1931.

The Pearl Harbor attack in Japan was an ambush for the US Navy by the Japanese army in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The attack on Pearl Harbor was a major military and political blow to the United States. This incident shows the world that the United States may be deprived of alarms and makes the United States vulnerable to the international community. Shortly thereafter, on 19th February 1942 President Roosevelt issued presidential order 9066. With this order, Japanese Americans were transferred from the west coast of the US to a camp known as "war resettlement camp".

In Part 1, this article describes the events that caused the Pearl Harbor attack and the attack on Pearl Harbor itself.
