Pearl Harbor

Pearl Harbor is undoubtedly one of the most dramatic turning points in American history and all elements are accompanied by magnificent drama: heroes, villains, publicity and conspiracy theory. It pushed this country from the continent of isolationism to the spotlight on the world stage. World War II changed the perception of the American world and the view of Americans. For Pearl Harbor and the war, America accepted the lead role of the world leader.

Abstract: On 7th December 1941, Japanese aircraft and submarines began a sudden attack on America at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. Why did Japan attack Pearl Harbor? The reason why Japan attacked Pearl Harbor has continued for some time because I believe Japan is destined to dominate East Asia and the Pacific. In 1931 the Japanese army controlled the civilian government and militarists adopted an aggressive expansion policy to occupy Manchuria in the north of China. Ross has taken economic policy to prevent further Japanese invasion in Southeast Asia, impose steel embargo on Japan, and restrict sales of war material.

The Pearl Harbor attack in Japan was an ambush for the US Navy by the Japanese army in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The attack on Pearl Harbor was a major military and political blow to the United States. This incident shows the world that the United States may be deprived of alarms and makes the United States vulnerable to the international community. Shortly thereafter, on 19th February 1942 President Roosevelt issued presidential order 9066.
