Patient examination begins with questions about the patient's current functional status, living environment and perceived limits. Objective measurements were then made, including total range of motion, total intensity, SPO 2, heart rate, blood pressure, functional capacity, and percentage of damage. The patient lives in a two-story house with his wife and daughter. The patient reported his limit, that is, when he climbed the stairs at home he needed to increase the oxygen and it was difficult to walk long distances.
Walking for 6 minutes allows you to measure the patient indoors and walk within 6 minutes from the apartment. The patient initially practiced walking to give them confidence and measured with a second walk. Proactively encourage patients throughout the process and allow rest. In the shuttle test, the patient rhythmically walked between the two points 10 points apart at both ends of the ward. Just like the multi-step fitness tests used by athletes, the speed of walking is determined by clicking on the edge of the shuttle, and the speed increases gradually. The patient continues until forced to stop breathing and then records the number of completed shuttles.
Once a patient is accepted by the program, it is necessary to evaluate the patient's health condition. This was done by a 6 minute walk test. Basically, the patient should walk as flat as possible for 6 minutes. It also tracks oxygen and heart rate. I thought ... it was a waste of time. We have these things on our phone! I will go to work and go back to the 21st century. That (and still today) is a bit ridiculous. I began looking for existing applications, but I could not find any applications at all. So I decided to do it myself.
