Christ is the leader of the church and Paul said in Ephesians 1:22, "God put everything under her feet, so that he is responsible for all the work of the church I will appoint you. " He set them aside to lead the community. The pastor as a public leader leads the community. God asks the people leading the public to take responsibility for the community, the community and the community. During the debate of an open leader, one of the best questions raised in this class was "How do you become a pastor of the community, not a pastor of the church?" problem
David oversees the church and the staff. There are six pastors and two directors in David. Pastor, pastor who oversees music and worship, children, biblical ministry (including adult scholarship), evangelism and service, and education. For theological reasons, only men are pastors of Stonebrial. Men and women can serve as directors. Two directors reporting to David oversee the personnel and communications departments. CFO has David and a dotted line. The CFO will be reported to the Finance Committee and the Finance Committee will report to the Board of Directors. Therefore, budget and financial matters will not be reported to David unless David is the elders of the board. Initially, the CFO reported to David. Due to Chavanne's workload, he asked me to stop reporting the relationship. To set the budget, the Finance Committee offered David the total amount.
This is largely cataloged and recognized by ministry. The pastor is overkill. They often say "yes" and rarely say "no". I am not planning on this, but I just think of ideas: if the call of pastoral ministry is "Equipment of saints for labor ministry" (Eph 4:12), maybe this is I am the only one, but it can not do all the work of the pastor. I am not a quantum physics student, and I was wearing a punks ring in high school, but in my opinion "equipment" means that the priest does not need to say more often than that.
