If you want to mention actions completed in the past before other actions occurred, please use the past completion tense.

In other words, if two actions occurred in the past, you will use the past completion tense to complete the first action and proceed to the next action with a simple past tense.

When I got to the cinema, the movie started. There is a problem with this sentence. There may be someone who wonders if I arrived at the cinema before or after the movie began.

When I got to the cinema the movie had already begun. Things are becoming obvious now

I got to the station before the train left. The completion tense of the past is the arrival of past participle which arrived "already" plus

Note: Remember to use a simple past tense of past complementary and past actions when the completion of the past completes.

These sentences are the past past tense. We use the past tense when we tell you how many things have been done in the past and how much time has passed in the past. You first stated what happened in the past. Well, you want to say what happened before that (but it will continue at that point and then will end). These examples will make this clearer. * He lost 5 kg when he got married - his marriage happened someday in the past. It serves as a reference point. Now he starts to lose weight before marrying. When he got married, he lost five kilograms. He lost 5 kilograms at the time he started losing weight and getting married. Please be aware that everything has happened in the past. Apart from now

A perfect continuous tense in the past is an action that occurred in the past but was completed at some point in the past. The focus of a complete continuous verb in the past is different from the full tense of the past as it is in the initiative before another moment in the past, not the action that is currently being completed. The tense of the verb used in the sentence "I often take a walk in the park before meeting her" represents the action taken before the other things ("walking") done in the past I will. She"

Past or present completion tense In general, "Using past tenses to express actions and conditions that occurred within a certain past time is similar to discussing other researchers' research." (APA, page 42). Current completion is used to indicate past behaviors and conditions not occurring at a specific defined time or to explain behaviors starting from the past and continuing to the present (APA on page 43). For literary discussions, past or present completion tense can be used. Likewise, if your chapter offers case studies or your own research, explain the program using one of these tenses.
