Canadian Broadcasting Corporation took over the CRBC function and was founded by the Royal Committee through the National Assembly Law on November 2, 1938. This is concerned about the increasing influence on the radio in the United States.
In 1941, CBC supported the launch of news services. Over 80 sites throughout the world have participated in this project. Information service connects radio stations and provides reliable international news. Information services are particularly effective for advertising emergency messages
In 1946, the first CBC FM broadcasting station opened in Toronto and Montreal. A year later, in 1947, Canadian Broadcasting Corporation completed a detailed plan of television development in Canada.
On 6th September 1951, the first CBC television program was released in Montreal and was released in Toronto two days later. This program is called "Let's see", it is a preview of the night program.
In 1958, under the guidance of Prime Minister John Defeinbaker and partly under the advice of the Fowler Commission, Canada enacted the Broadcast Act of 1958 and established the Broadcasting Council (BBG). A team of 15 members played the regulatory function of CBC and made CBC a public broadcaster.
On September 1, 1966, CBC began the first color television program. Canadian Broadcasting Corporation caught up with the United States by doing so. CBC is the first production company to produce color television programs in Canada.
In 1968, the Canadian Broadcasting Television Committee (CRTC) replaced the BBG and incorporated cable TV regulations into its obligation. The organization was renamed Canadian Radio, Television and Telecommunication Committee in late 1976.
Several regional television stations in Canada are earlier than the establishment of Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, but CBC was Canada's oldest surviving broadcast network, founded on November 2, 1936. Broadcasting services include CBC Radio One, CBC Music, Radio Radio - Canada Premier, Radio Music, Radio Canada International. Television services include CBC TV, ICI Radio - Canadian Television, CBC News, ICI RDI, ICI Explorer, Documentary Channel (partially owned) and ICI ARTV. CBC serves CBC North and Radio-Canada Nord for the Canadian Arctic Circle. CBC also operates digital services such as CBC.ca / ICI.Radio-Canada.ca, CBC Radio 3, CBC Music / ICI.mu, Ici.TOU.TV, and 20.2% of Satellite Broadcasters Sirius XM I own Canada. There are five separate services on the CBC radio. Three are called English, CBC Radio One, CBC Music, CBC Radio 3, and two are French, called Ici Radio - Canada Premiere and Ici Musique. CBC Radio One and Première are focused on news and information programs, but they play several music shows, variety shows and comedies; in the past they also broadcast several sports. CBC Radio One and Première were mainly broadcasting on the AM band, but many television stations moved to FM. Over the years many CBC radio transmitters (mostly in the AM band) are transferred to FM or completely shut down.
