Parthenon vs. Pantheon

The similarities and differences between the Parthenon Temple were completed around 432 BC. The Pantheon was built for the Emperor Hadrians at around 125 o'clock in the city of Athens in Greece and the District of Colombia in Rome. The first big similarity that people can point out is that both are built as temples of God. However, there are differences in this function. The Parthenon temple was built to commemorate Athenian goddess Athena, and the Pantheon (in any Greek word) was built to commemorate all the Roman gods and goddesses

The main difference you can see is the actual structure of the two temples themselves. The Parthenon temple is a rectangular structure, and the main structure of the Pantheon is to include a sphere (if you look at it from the top it is a circle). The front ends of the two structures are very similar, but there is space to support sculpture and scenes. The Romans used so many things, we saw the very large Greek facade of the Parthenon temple (different sculptures or similar things, just general thoughts). These pillars are much bigger than anything used by the Greeks, and each pillar is a stone, but the Greek pillars are usually made of sections. The pillar of the Parthenon is the order of Durian, and the pillars of the Pantheon appear to be the order of Collins (basically the more gaudy). The pantheon of Pantheon (and the whole facade, I believe) is made of granite imported from Egypt. This is the case of Parthenon.

The perfect ball in the outer structure of the Pantheon is geometric, I think you can say. This is one perfect example of the concepts (Euclidean geometry) that are borrowed and used by Romans from the Greeks. In that case, they have the fact that they are concrete. Without concrete, the structure of the pantheon will not be together; if strong pressure is applied to the wall by the shape of the sphere, they will collapse unless something fixes the stones together (concrete). The Greeks (as far as I know) have nothing special or similar, so their building is a marble slab on a marble slab. This means that you can not really accomplish the complex architectural achievements (specific differences) that the Romans can accomplish. An example of this is the use of an arch in a very common Greek building in Roman architecture (then there is actually a Pantheon which is actually a bunch of archs arranged in circular patterns on both sides). Pantheon is a Greek style classic style, but the rest of the building is built as a modern dome structure that can be placed in the building based on the theoretical range. Pantheon is more advanced in architecture and structure than parthenon temple, such as comparing gothic cathedral and modern skyscraper in a sense.
