Parents: In our elementary school who participates in the education of children, there are many children who want to meet the awards ceremony or the first day or simply meet with the teacher and discuss about work at school. I am worried about the involvement of the parents of the children who are behind in the classroom. The federal government proposes to increase the education budget so that our teachers can better educate our children. Even the state legislature is involved in educational issues.
As a child's first teacher, parents have developed good growth and development of their children and have a good opportunity to claim their education. Many parents want to participate in the education of their children. However, early in my educational history, I noticed that my family often faced obstacles to attending school experience. I was surprised to see how many parents left the conference of their parents and teachers to make their parents worry or even cry during the first year before school. When discussing with my parents that my daughter's academic and social emotional skills were different from linguistic skills, fun, very linguistic mothers of children were obviously disappointed. I believe that she is leading the skills of other kindergartens thanks to her daughter's language skills. Mothers are uncertain about expectations of this age and missed some opportunities to help her daughter develop academically.
Parents are rarely involved in children's education. According to the Ministry of Education (2005), parents can play an important role in children's education. They help housework with chores, provide good parenting, and participate in school projects and children's trips. They should help the school better manage their children. Aboriginal parents are too busy, they do not have time to find time for children. Young people from the Aboriginal background will not experience this, as parents advise their children and influence their future lives. This is a poor performance of school, poverty, truancy, participation in gang activities, and explanation of high school dropout rate. Children lack consciousness of belonging (Ministry of Education, 2005)
Parents are encouraged to actively participate in the education of their children. The degree to which a child succeeds in school is directly related to parent involvement. Cities can encourage parents to be deeply involved in the lives of their children. In San Jose, we partnered with the parent 's Quality Education Association and cooperated with the school district to nurture 10,000 parents so that they could participate in the education of children. We will establish a strong relationship with the school district leaders. Since San Jose is serving in 19 separate school districts, we have established collaboration between school and city to improve communication and coordination with city halls and others. We share ideas, insights, and innovations that help children learn through periodic high-level meetings between the mayor and the director.
