Abortion: The two states and the District of Columbia explicitly allow all minors to agree on abortion services. Eleven states require prior notice to at least one parent, while 21 states require at least one parent to agree on underage abortion. In the five states, we require that parents be notified and agree before the abortion. In the other six states, parents temporarily or permanently banned are involved in the law. The two forms of parent participation in abortion are parental notice and parental consent. In the method of notifying parents, usually an abortion provider must inform a minor or incompetent person 48 hours before the abortion of the parent or legal guardian. On the other hand, under the parental consent law, abortion providers need to guarantee the actual consent of parents or legal guardians before abortion. The US Supreme Court (USSC) has consistently decided that the law on parental notice and consent is constitutional and does not impose excessive burden on women's abortion rights. . In the United States, most states usually require the participation of two types of parents, consent, notice, or both. 37 states require parents to participate in minor abortions decisions (21 states require parental consent, 3 need parental consent, 11 states need parental notice only, 2 consent and notify; 8 states require parents to agree to the document for notarization). In Delaware state, the law applies only to minors under the age of 16 and South Carolina applies to minors under 17 years of age. Participation of parents in law played an important role in forcing the court to clarify the position of the court on abortion control. The Court essentially determined that parent participation in the law (and all other abortion rules) could make it more legally more difficult for women to undergo abortion. However, beyond that there are thresholds where difficulty is illegal.
