Parallel Structure

Parallel processing is the similarity of grammatical forms of elements with similar meanings in sentences.

If two or more ideas are parallel, they should be expressed in parallel syntax. A single word needs to be balanced with a single word, phrase and phrase, phrase and phrase. Parallelism makes shape conform to meaning

The reader expects items in the series to appear in parallel grammar. If more than one item contradicts the expectations of the reader, the sentence is unnecessary.
