Paintball guns were first used by the National Forestry Association to mark trees that could be harvested. Then it was used by a cowboy to show cows.

Paintball shooting is a growing sport in the United Arab Emirates. Paintball was first introduced in the United Arab Emirates and the Middle East in 1996.
