It is one of the fastest growing sports on Earth. Paintball history, games, guns and safety are all part of fun. In 1970, engineer James Hale invented and acquired the first patent of commercially successful paintball gun. Paintball guns were first used by the National Forestry Association to mark trees that could be harvested. Then it was used by a cowboy to show cows.

Paintball shooting is a growing sport in the United Arab Emirates. Paintball was first introduced in the United Arab Emirates and the Middle East in 1996. The first paintball facility was founded in Dubai and received technical support from some of the best paintball operators in Europe and the United States.

Despite the absence of legislation, paintballs are becoming increasingly popular as competitive sports with several leagues and tournaments throughout the country.
