Paideia and the Matter of Mind

Pydia and "psychological problems" summary: Pydia means special kind of education, historically interest has been learned, learning, that is, development of the mind. Therefore, paideia is different from learning for professional learning, training, and external purposes. Paideia is embodied in the concept of traditional liberal education. It is believed to develop ideas through realization of valuable knowledge and understanding.

Paideia Institute held the 3rd High School Essay Competition. I will present an award-winning paper at In Medias Res. The winners will receive a full scholarship from Paideia College's Latin High School Life Latin Course or Paideia Greek High School program. The paper expires March 1, 2018, it should be between 500 and 1000 words. Please send all the papers in .pdf format to inmediasres@paideia-institute.org. The submission must include student name, high school name, grade, Latin or Greek teacher's name. In order to receive a scholarship, students must meet the prerequisites of the anticipated plan. Students asking CPS Montessori, Piedia and STEM elementary school (or student's parents) would like to enroll in a high school that continues Montessori, Piedia, or STEM courses. If so, these high school options will be offered. If high school is not selected, parent / student will continue to participate in the prize process and select high school. Brothers and sisters' preferences apply only to high school students prefer. This means that brothers and sisters go on to higher school rather than other students. Brothers and sisters now need to enroll at the high school the students desire in 7, 8, 9, 10 or 11 graders and live in the same address.
