Pablo Picasso is regarded as the biggest artist of the 20th century with its unique style and technique. Pablo Ruiz y Picasso was born in Malaga, Spain on October 25, 1881. He was born by a professor of art named Jose Ruiz Blanco and his wife Maria Picasso Lopez. Thanks to his father's background, Picasso's talent was noticed soon and appreciated. Art teacher Don Jose moved Picasso and his family to LaCoruña and then moved to Barcelona. So he was a lecturer at Academy of Fine Arts (Encarta CD - ROM). At the age of 10, Picasso made his first painting and played well in the admission test at the Academy of Fine Arts in Barcelona. From there he went to San Fernando College in Madrid and returned to Barcelona in 1900. In his early teens, Picasso painted with his father and the influence of realism in Spain. As his knowledge became wider he was also drawn in a decorated Impressionist style and Art Nouveau style.
