Pablo Casals: If not one of the greatest cellists in history, the internationally renowned cellist Pablo Casals (sometimes called his original name Pau Carlos Salvidor Defillo De Casals). Casals was born on 29 December 1876 in Bendrell, Spain. He received the first music lesson from his father (music teacher) from the violin.
