Overview of The Cold War

During the Second World War, the Soviet Union and the United States acted as allies. But at the end of the war each party wants to deal with the aftermath in a different way. The United States is in favor of developing a peaceful, friendly and cooperative relationship between Germany and its allies. Su Lenovo retaliated against the crime and atrocities committed against them. America hopes to promote democracy in Eastern Europe, but the Soviets argued that the United States is hypocritical as America supported the Latin American countries under dictatorship.

The purpose of this section is not to indicate when the Cold War will begin, when it will end, and why it ended like that. Our goal is humility. It is a summary of the process caused by the end of the Cold War. It begins with self-determination process and international society's response to it. The most important event after the collapse of the Berlin Wall is the former Soviet Union coup in August 1991. In the week of August, the second Russian revolution seems to restore the communist world, stopping historical trends. However, the coup failed and Michael Gorbachev restored his authority. It brought hope to the world. However, in 1992, the negative trend sharply declined. The exaggerated expectations for democracy, human rights and prosperity created by the drama of global harmony and the collapse of communism will be seriously affected if they do not explode. In order to provide a historical overview, we divide the international security environment into three time frames: (1) the Cold War era (bipolar era), (2) the post-Cold War era (monopolar hegemony of the United States) And (3) New era of international security (plural) extreme world). From the current US panorama and the near future, the international security environment will be affected by changes in military strength.
