Overview of Osteoarthritis

Introduction OA is a musculoskeletal disorder that causes chronic joint pain and decreases physical function (Laba, Brien, Fransen, & Jan, 2013). Osteoarthritis (OA) is a non-inflammatory disease of the synovial joint resulting in loss of hyaline cartilage and remodeling of the surrounding bone. OA is the most common joint disease, with prevalence of 60% in males and 70% in females since 65 years of age, with an estimated 40 million in the United States (Goodman & Fuller, 2009).

Osteoarthritis results and goals The purpose of this paper is to provide literature review of osteoarthritis. The topics covered are as follows. What is osteoarthritis in fact, its cause, symptom, treatment, therapy, side effects of this therapy and other treatments. This SSA has two goals. - The famous American astronomer Carl Sagan (1934-1996), born in 1983, first defined and explained the nuclear winter phenomenon. In a nuclear winter article based on the academic paper "Nuclear War on the Global Atmosphere", Sagan explained and analyzed unintended consequences, a sharp decline in world temperature, nuclear war.
