Overview of Earth´s History and Periods

Laurentia and Baltica met at the end of the Silurian and formed a new supercontinent. Sea level rise forms a nearly continuous sea from New York to Nevada, and other shallow seas cover part of other continents. In the early years of the Silurian, it began to cold at high latitudes, a huge ice sheet was formed, but then in the central part of the Silurian, the global climate became warmer than the Ordovician and the Devonian most. This new phase began melting large glacier ice sheets and caused global sea level rise.

Through the history of the earth, the climate varied between relatively warm and relatively cold times. Paleoclimatology studies climate and climate change before direct measurement. Directly recording temperature and other climatic factors is only a small part of the history of the Earth's climate. Climate change is the change in the global or regional climate over time. It reflects changes in atmospheric or average conditions over time scales ranging from decades to millions of years. These changes can be caused by processes in the Earth, external forces (such as changes in the intensity of sunlight), or recent human activities.

The Earth experienced many dramatic climate change events at various times in the history of the earth. For the time being, the whole planet was covered with ice, but it was hot and dry for a while. In this respect, the Earth experiences at least three major long-term cold weather and ice age and is dotted with warm climates. - As now expected, most topics may be biased focusing on depriving relevant claims; like most controversial topics, climate change also has this offset . There are few people trying to oppose any defensive measures against the cause of climate change.
