Overpopulation of Prisons

In the past 30 years, the prison population has dramatically increased. The Prison Bureau (BOP) recorded a 60% increase in the population since 2000. The increase in the number of prisoners caused many prisons throughout the United States to exceed their maximum capacity. Due to overcrowding, several prisons throughout the United States experienced protests. Many theories consider causes of overcrowding and possible solutions. I am not going to prove the reason why prisons such as the Prison Bureau (BOP) and the Capital Dental Center (MDC) are overcrowded.

In California, a major problem occurred in 2011. Concerns are related to state population overpopulation of prisons. Overcrowding in California 's prison system violates the US constitution (Li, 2011). This was decided by the US Supreme Court. Another problem with overpopulation is that California is experiencing economic difficulties. This means that the budget has insufficient funds to build a more unconstitutional prison. This may also mean that many prisons built during the province contribute to the financial problems faced by California (Li, 2011). California does not change the fact that it spends about $ 5 billion annually to care for imprisonment and increasing prisoners (Li, 2011).

In many prisons throughout the country, overpopulation is flooding the prison, creating a turbulent environment. Many prison-closed prisoners were sent to other prisons. This happened even in camps of condemned prisoners. The criminals put here are sentenced to everything from destruction to intrusion and murder. All these prisoners are free from what they can do to pay taxpayers' money and their expenses. - Education of prisoners - unnecessary efforts to commit crimes without limitation, race, social position, and gender. In prison, all offenders are criminals, regardless of whether they committed a felony, rape or assault. White collar crime is the same as other crime. Nevertheless, most prisoners come from the middle class and the lower class of our society.
