Summary and Overview Course Description This course is a major subject of Outdoor Education (OE), based on the University of Wyoming Education in Laramie, Wyoming. Outdoor education is a wide variety of fields, but the simplest term is outdoor education. This field is closely related to adventure, experience, place, and environmental education. The OE department supports thousands of seasonal and permanent work nationwide and across the state, including nationwide open-air leadership schools, Teton School of Science, and numerous summer camps.

Outdoor environmental protection plan incorporating multiculturalism into outdoor education includes environmental issues and other issues related to the value of using nature as a classroom. Faced these challenges and seek opportunities to find common points. Outdoor education provides a unique forum for sharing environmental issues among different groups of participants (Matthews, 1993; 1994). However, there are still many things to do in this field. Wright (1994) is seeking rigorous research and experimentation, as well as creative programming and quality assessment to strengthen multicultural outdoor education

Multi-cultural issues in open-air education Summary of ERIC In the 1990s, when field educators tried to solve the problem of multicultural education, they experienced an important process of redefinition. As a result, outdoor education has seen more diverse courses, curriculum agenda, employees and leadership, board of directors and students. As the population composition of the United States is changing, opportunities to provide services to students with diverse cultural background are increasing. In order to succeed it is important to understand the learning methods as part of the overall effort to recognize and appreciate the needs of various students, attitudes towards the outdoors, and various cultures (Kielsmeier, 1989 ).
