Out of my Mind by Sharon M Draper – review

In this book there is a miserable story about a girl named Melody who likes talking and walking. Unfortunately, she can not make her talk and not control her movement because of her cerebral palsy.

When you pursue this girl through her life she will tell you the hardships of her brain. However, when the melody finally found a way to speak, an ordinary child could not be sure about her.

When you read this book you will learn how difficult it is to understand people who can not speak and walk, even if they want to tell a lot of different things to other people.

This book is carefully made and provides an understanding for people with disabilities. Explanations and stories are well thought out, some people will make you cry, and some will make you laugh. Torsion and rotation puke you, and all kinds of ideas are wonderful.

I will recommend this book to people over the age of 10.
