Our World is Filled with Sensors

Wireless sensor networks are a field of research and commercial development that is growing rapidly in the field of science and technology. We live in a sensor - filled world. These networks have enormous long-term economic potential and may change our lives, but they also pose many new system construction challenges. The most common example of WSN around us is the building where we are working. They have sensors to monitor temperature, occupancy, smoke and flame, and safety. Another example is in our car, which contains hundreds, if not hundreds, of sensors to monitor engine performance, passenger safety equipment and brakes.

Our robot has several sensors for acquiring information about the world. SICK Laser Radar, 4 Ultrasonic Sensor, Gyroscope, Encoder in Axis Module, and Machine Vision System. Using these sensors and associated software algorithms, the robot can get the distance of all the surrounding objects and avoid collisions with them. This is the meaning of navigation. This algorithm is based on the state machine, and each state has different actions. In other words, it is the behavior when the robot tried to avoid collision and rotation. Turn has its own state machine as it itself consists of many parts. All actions are eventually divided into messages to the Axis Module such as "Rotating Wheels" and "Traveling Forward".

All connected sensors that make up the Internet's things are like our bodies and they provide raw data on what is going on in the world. Artificial intelligence is like our brain, we understand the data and decide what to do. The device connected with the Internet 's Internet still physically acts and communicates with others like our body. Machine learning and deep learning has brought about a great leap in artificial intelligence in recent years. As mentioned above, machine learning and deep learning require large amounts of data to function, these data are gathered by billions of sensors, and the Internet's Internet is on-line.
