OUR FAITH IN ACTION: TODAY'S SOCIETY OF ST. VINCENT DE PAUL

Members of the Saint Vincent de Paulle Association reflect their spiritual growth as they provide services to families in need of economic aid and medical care

"Vincentians" is known as a member and they promise to serve others with the spirit of the founder Frederic Ozanam and patron saint Vincent de Paul. The Saint Vincent Paul Association is a volunteer membership organization composed of people from all walks of life that they feel that they have time to spend part of the time they serve the people in need. Through their efforts, the association can work and achieve toward the goal of alleviating suffering. Whether it is material, intellectual, emotional or spiritual, it provides assistance to all in the spirit of consideration, respect, and dignity. Rather than coping with specific situations, members of society aim to cooperate with the people they serve to create solutions that take into account all aspects of their lives. Charity is not strange to the guild

Inspired by the value of the Gospel, the Catholic non-professional organization Saint Vincent de Paul Association, by providing the service of people and people to those who are in trouble or suffering in the founder's tradition I will teach women and men to grow spiritually. , Fredrik Ozanam's blessing and patron saint, Saint Vincent de Paul. Reflected as a whole family of God, members of Vincent are known from various ethnic, cultural backgrounds, age group and economic level. Vincents unite in an international charity society through their poverty, humility, and spirit of sharing. And it is nourished by prayers and reflexes, mutually supporting gatherings and sticking to basic rules.

Ozanam is based on the principle of the Saint Vincent de Paul Association and is dedicated to the poor; this is accomplished by providing firewood to the poor neighbors. Even today, the principle of Saint Vincent de Paul is to give or aid economically, while providing spiritual and emotional support. This is mainly achieved through home visits; just like what Ozanam did. Members visit poor houses, and today we provide emotional support in a way that we talk and communicate with these people.
