Some people say the Holocaust is the weakest and most sneaky moment in our history. Now that 11 million helpless, innocent victims have died, this is a traumatic period full of blood and tears. Of these 6 million people died of Jews. About two-thirds of the Jews were killed in Europe, but others were also damaged. During the Holocaust, gypsies, poles, mentally disabled people, twins were also targeted. Many people ignore the deaths of people other than Jews, but this road is long and difficult for all participants.
David Adjaye and Ron Arad were chosen to design a new British monument in London to commemorate the victims of Jewish men, women, children, and all other Nazi persecution. After a European Jewish monument I was recently visiting Berlin and was murdered, I immediately became interested in this article. The monument is designed so that viewers can get what they want, feel what they want, and see what they want to see. The way column / plate is at different levels is related to the way Berlin's monument is located. Many columns also produce domino effect. To me, this shows the deaths of thousands of innocent people, and as the Nazis started killing some people, thousands of people collapsed with them. The design evolves around the creation of a journey from light to darkness, from darkness to light. This can be seen with the design of the monument and the way the sun can go through the pillars.
Who are the other victims of Nazism? What is the difference between their destiny and the fate of the Jews? Numerous people have become victims of the Nazi regime for political, social, or ethnic reasons. Germans were the first victims of persecution by political activity. Many people are dying in concentration camps, but most people are released after the spirit breaks. Germans suffering from mental or physical obstacles were murdered under the "euthanasia" program. Other Germans are imprisoned for homosexuality, criminals or non-compliant people; these people are treated cruelly, but they have never been completely destroyed like Jews
In the postwar German countries, homosexuals were never regarded as "victims" of Nazi persecution. Despite the fact that in the concentration camps, they were marked as pink triangles indicating sexual orientation. They were severely abused by camp guards and other prisoners. Two main factors that contribute to this unsatisfactory situation. First of all, it reflects that there is a hesitation of prosecuting their instigators feared for homosexuals general hatred and their companions rejection of their preferences. Secondly, the interpretation of paragraph 175 of the Penal Code of 1871 criminalized "deceptive acts" and sexual intercourse between the two men until 1969. This means that homosexuals who are persecuted and sent to concentration camps are punished under the same law. In addition, Hitler's victims did not count gays. The New Law has three parts.
