In the national convention for the past 15 years, the American Veterans Association has awarded the service spirit award to the military representatives who commended the model of volunteer activities in the community. Two years ago, the state of Washington received this award in commemoration of the "excellent soldier" of Washington state. "This award has enthusiasm and great success," said Jack Kabuyag, former department commander and chairman of the Service Spirit Awards Committee.
