Origins vs. Environment: Methods of Colonization in the New World

Christopher Columbus landed in the Indian Islands in 1492 and looked for shorter waterways to China and India. Later, the New World became a place to attract freedom of religion, opportunities for trade, the possibilities of land and agriculture, but it was a place that could not be used at that time in Europe.
