Oregon Trail Geography

Have you thought about the reasons that many people may die in the Oregon Trail? You may think of illness, accident, and perhaps intentional things. You may or may not think about this, but even natural may be violent and murderous. There are many ways. Rocky Mountains is one of the world's largest mountains. In the northwest Pacific coast, it is located in the northeastern part of Washington, the eastern part of Oregon, the majority of the state of Idaho. They actually extend from southern Alaska to northern Mexico.

To combine the new design with the actual geographical location of the Oregon Trail, itinerary consists of various sections of different lengths, each ending with a unique major landmark along the trail. (This is probably the most important of many differences between the 1971 product and the 1985 design because many other important changes are implemented. The Oregon Trail starts in Missouri and ends in Oregon State in Oregon. It covers about 2,000 miles in six states including Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Wyoming, Idaho, Oregon. In the process, travelers must go through rugged terrain such as the Rocky Mountains and Sierra Nevada. The main vehicle used to carry pioneer items is a freight car. Sometimes these trucks are like a ship crossing the vast grassland in the west, so it is called "Prairie Schooner". These trucks are made of wood with iron like tires around the wheel. The cover is made of waterproof cotton or linen canvas. A typical cover wagon is about 10 feet long and 4 feet wide.

The Oregon Trail is a 2,000-mile historic East-West wagon train linking the Missouri River and the Oregon Valley and the Immigration Road. The eastern part of the road spans a part of the future of Kansas, and almost all of it is now Nebraska and Wyoming. The western half of the road accounts for most of the future of Idaho State and Oregon State. The beginning of the Oregon Trail was built by catchers and merchants of fur from around 1811 to around 1840; these early trails can just walk or ride. By 1836, when the first immigration train was held in the state of Missouri Independence, the transport was cleared up to Holborg in Idaho province. Gradually cross the roadway to the west, and finally to Willamette Valley in Oregon. Every year, as more and more colonists transport along their tracks, we know that a new cutoff route will make the route shorter and safer.
