Oregon Geography

Oregon coast extends north to south along the Pacific Ocean. Governor Oregon is 360 m wide and 260 m wide, the ninth largest state. South Oregon has a border with California and Nevada, the north side is Washington State, the west side is Idaho State, and the Pacific Ocean of course. Oregon's nickname is Beaver. Because in the 19th century beaver's skin was very valuable to the catcher in this area. The longitude of Oregon is 116 45 W to 124 30 W.

Susan W. Hardwick is a professor of geography at the University of Oregon and formerly chaired the National Geographic Education Council. She specializes in geography education, immigration geography, ethnic identity, and the geographic location of North America. She writes and collaborates 11 scientific books, college and junior high school textbooks, and numerous references. Hardwick is also known for his contribution as an author and editor of The Power of Place (2012) of Annenberg / PBS series and Living Geography: National Geographic Standards (1994).

Evan Centanni is focused on world culture and human geography. He grew up in Oregon, but later he lived in the other two countries and traveled to many more countries. Centanni is editor of current political geography at www.polgeonow.com. He holds a bachelor's degree in international studies and linguistics at the University of Oregon.

This hobby has changed since the beginning when the state of Oregon was called geographical stand in 2000. Geocaching was started by a group of people interested in technology and geography. They invented the hobby of old mailboxes using GPS devices and the Internet. Letterboxing is very similar to the geocaching treasure, but clues are stated in the brochure or other printouts.
