Oppression of Women in Masculine Based Societies

Throughout history, many cultures have been based on manhood. There are many forces that support the example that men dominate women. But how does this affect them? This may be surprising, but it is well known that men abuse this power. When a woman is at most a second-class citizen, in the worst case it is a slave, there is a result. Men seem to never pay for their actions, as a result women will definitely suffer. This can be found in all human history and literature.

Women are extremely repressed at over 5000 years, but femininity is suppressed (especially in men), but the problem is not masculine and immature. The solution is not to make women's temperament more important than masculinity, but to create a soul-centered society where mature men and women are more common than lifelong youth.

Masculinity, female nature and communication have a background that men behave in women's behavior, women show backgrounds by male behavior, and backgrounds are shown by sexism discrimination behaviors. Both males and females show behavior that social signs are female or male; they are not always sex-specific. Research by Rahman et al. (2003) I found a gender difference in verbal fluency. Researchers examined gender differences between male and female heterosexuals and gender differences between homosexuals and males. The results of the study showed that homosexuality changes in terms of the fluency of homosexual men and women. Psychologist Joseph Pleck thinks that the level of masculinity is mainly in gays and homosexual men's dichotomy. The division for some reason is a "real man" with power and the man is not. Michael Kimmel added that the metaphor "You are very homosexual" suggests lack of masculinity, not homosexuality. Plaque believes that in order to avoid repression of men against women, themselves and other men, we need to eliminate patriarchal structures, institutions and discourses from Western society.

Our patriarchal society communicates the spirit of men through its norms and practices. Aggression and power are indicators of manhoodness, passivity and obedience are indicators of femininity. Women must comply with the power of manhood and men will seem to protect postponed women. The ominous influence of the male spirit is reflected in the threat of pandemic against domestic violence and women's rape. In fact, according to World Bank data, women between the ages of 15 and 44 are more likely to be victims of rape and domestic violence than cancer, car accidents, war and malaria.
