The sun is shining in the towering stadium of Michigan and Tranbar. Since spring has come, we have a blunt gray weather in winter. In commemoration of the beginning of the anticipated season, the old aged stadium will resurrect within a few hours. I was surprised. Ringing shows the end of the course, and I am anxiously waiting for the arrival of the mother. I was irritated every two minutes and was watching the clock, but the car finally stopped. I jumped on the back seat and opened a heavy backpack.
This week, we celebrate "Opening Day" at Grow. As most baseball fans know (including me), the first day reflects not only the beginning of the baseball season but also the end of hard work and pre-season training. Grow's 4 months ago pre-season has finished today's public release of our new iOS application, Grow Invest. Like the baseball spring training, the release of the Grow Invest app takes months to prepare. Through all of this, CTO's co-founder and CTO Anthony Randazzo has enthusiastically led the engineering team to implement a broad range of beta testing processes while building powerful technologies. Co-founder and product leader Michael DeMaria also did a lot of other work to prepare for getting up well with the others of the Grow team during the same period.
A few years ago, when I was in college, I had the opportunity to participate in the Open Day event at the OutSystems office outside Lisbon. Open day is the day the company opens the door to students, so they have the opportunity to visit our office and meet people working there. I remember walking around the office and seeing everyone working at a glance at a glance. The staff happily talked to me about what they were doing and why they decided to participate in OutSystems. Let's fast forward in three years. I booked several flights to Scandinavia just two days before I got my master's degree and began to take risks from the next week. I came back home after a couple of airport transfers, uninterrupted hiking for over 10 hours (nothing previous hiking experience), a couple of days of driving in an unknown place. I am very happy to come back. I am ready to start a new chapter.
Yesterday, I was very fortunate to be with my brother and son on the first day of the New York Jet. This is my son 's first football game, and for me and my brother it is a tradition to go to the home opener. The first day of yesterday was consistent with the 15th anniversary of the September 11 attack. The stadium announcer first introduced the video of US President Barack Obama. Now, the crowd sitting behind us is crazy - it is not now "U - S - A, America America America" - this is all curse words that the president can think. I turned around quickly and said, "I am with an 8 year old child, do you think you can lower it?" "We spent a lot of money on these tickets, we could shout at F_ckin A __hole" - and then they continued as was the case with other big fans around the stadium. (This seems to have happened at some other NFL stadium yesterday)
