The next Tuesday will be our 40th anniversary of the first date - and I said to my wife that I am going to marry her.
After she drank vodka bottle I gave her her engagement ring because I thought it might improve her. Quoting the words of Roberto De Vicenzo, "I am stupid." Then I am 20 years old, I do not know what alcoholism is.
I am very familiar with last Tuesday. I called to call at 6:15. There is no answer. I called my answer when the meeting was over at 9:00. Nonsense, she drank - again
I am coming home at 9:20. She sat on my desk and chair and left my desk. Knowing what is in front of me, I take my dinner smoothie out of the fridge and keep on waking up before I drink it.
Fortunately, she is more drunk than extremists. She became sick again and again in a vomiting bucket before she started to rise upstairs. When she got sleepy, she got angry at my desk and chair. On the way to the second floor, we dyed our clothes.
She can become her pajamas. Before she started to thirst, she got sick again with another vomiting bucket. Fortunately, she slept without renewable illness.
On Sunday, 19th April 2009, I visited the Park Slope Serenity at St. Francis Xavier School. This was the first time for me to participate in any meeting other than treatment, so I was shocked for the first time by the nature of the meeting. This is the Alanon Conference focusing on the influence of alcohol dependence on families. Members of this group are family members of alcoholism. As a result, the focus of Al-Anon is more focused on more alcohol dependents and those affecting alcohol drinking behavior of their alcohol lovers. When I refer to the group booklet and its mission statement, the purpose of Alanon seems to be to help alcoholic poor families and friends. They do this by learning and practicing twelve steps. The meeting of Al-Anon is open to families and friends of all alcoholics. Their goal seems to be to give understanding and encouragement to drunkards.
Founded in 1951, Al - Anon is an organization that supports friends and families of problematic drinkers. Lois Wilson, also known as Lois W., established Al-Anon 16 years after her husband founded Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). In the face of the difficulty of supporting the recovery of alcoholism in her own life, she has created an organization for people such as her. Alanon is an organization that supports itself through donation from members. Even if their loved ones do not recover, meetings can help families and friends in alcohol deal with their loved ones and help them better serve. The main focus of Alanon is to help them by informing them that they are not the only ones who will support the members.
Most meetings began with a 12-step plan to read Alanon. These steps are nearly gradual adaptation of a 12-step plan for alcohol addiction patients. As in AA, Al-Anon members are sponsored, and even in times of difficulty they help with steps to provide support. The procedure is as follows. "As these steps were spiritually awakened, we are communicating this information to other people and are trying to practice them in all our work." - The last step is to travel on a member It is to understand that it is not over yet. Then encourage members to support other members with what they have learned.
