On Liberty

Analysis and criticism of JS about Mills' freedom of view on freedom has always been a long and confusing question for mankind. Every ambitious leader seems to have a new definition of freedom, and some are more real than others. But we saw that some people tend to master real freedom. John Stuart Mill (1806-1873) first recognized freedom as a difference between freedom of movement and freedom in his book "Statue of Liberty". That's impossible. Isaiah Berlin officially assembled the difference between these two views in his book "Concept of Freedom" as a difference of two opposite free concepts, positive freedom and negative freedom. The latter refers to a negative condition that individuals are protected from tyranny or arbitrary exercise of power, the former refers to freedom of internal enforcement such as freedom, weakness and self-control brought about by self-control. fear

British philosopher Isaiah Berlin distinguishes between positive freedom and negative freedom in his essay "two concepts of freedom". He defines negative freedom not to constrain or interfere with the agent's possible behavior. The greater the "negative freedom" the less restrictive the possible actions are. Berlin combines the concept of positive freedom and self-control, or the ability to decide oneself to control his destiny. Positive freedom should be exercised under the constraints of negative freedom.

A philosopher defines freedom as a duplex coin. There are no bans or obstacles. This is called negative freedom and the term negative means a lack of restriction rather than the quality of freedom it refers to.
