The need for time is to deal with various environmental problems and other global problems in order to secure a safer world.

The third world's environmental problems include air pollution, water pollution, desertification, soil erosion, deforestation, and environmental intoxication. Environmental pollution in developed countries and third world countries arises from several sources, so international governments, businesses, NGOs and individuals must address this reduction (Murphy, 73). The government needs to play the largest and only role, including regulation and enforcement of pollution control measures.

Before the 1980s, Nicaragua paid little attention to environmental problems. Forest destruction is a major problem, but there are also serious soil erosion and water pollution problems.
