Birla Mandir is located close to Connaught Place in New Delhi. It is one of the first temples built by Indian villas and is one of the main attractions of Delhi. The temple was built by famous industrialist and philanthropist Baldeo Das Birla and his son Birla's Jugal Kishore Birla. Construction of the temple began in 1933 and was completed in 1939. The Indian gate is one of the most popular monuments at the eastern end of Raj Path in New Delhi. It is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Delhi. Birla Mandir or Laxminarayan Temple is located in Mandir Marg, West of Connaught Place in New Delhi. The temple spreads to about 7 acres of land.
