Oil Spill Disasters

Yesterday, residents of the coffee town blocked access to the beach to protest the government's response to the disaster, cleaning up Labruair's oil spill had problems. The purpose of this paper is to study oil spill accident at Exxon Valdez. Specifically, in this article, we first consider the fact of oil spill. What's wrong? What is the cause of oil spill? Who is responsible? Can it be prevented? What is the impact of oil spill on the environment? Next, in this article I will explain the changes that were made to prevent future oil spills. Special attention is paid to the law established after the oil spill at Exxon Valdez. Third, these changes will be evaluated. In other words, are these changes sufficient to prevent another disaster? This article concludes that the oil industry is dangerous and accidents can happen at any time.

The oil spill of Deepwater Horizon / BP, perhaps the biggest anthropogenic environmental hazard, was the greatest oil spill in the history of the world oil industry. The cause of the incident was the explosion of oil drilling equipment and the sinking in the sea. This case deprived 11 lives, wasting about 5 million barrels of oil and brought a serious threat to over 8,000 marine life. Despite purification work, these ecological losses may last for many years. This is the most notorious coastal dumping site in the United States and has several contaminants such as nitrogen and phosphorous rich pesticides, fertilizers, animal excrement. Pollutants come from the farm near the Mississippi River, and the number is so large that aquatic life can not survive in the Gulf region near Texas due to severe hypoxia.
