Offred's Narrative in The Handmaid's Tale

Mr. Off's story in a maid story says, "Writing is a belief behavior, I believe that this is also hopeful behavior and I hope things are better than them ". She tells her story to an unknown reader. We understand Offred through her own personal thoughts.

The maid's story is divided into two parts, night and various other activities. This novel can be interpreted as a double story, a story of Offred, and a maid story. The night part is just Offred, and the other parts (shopping, waiting room, family etc) are from the perspective of Offred, but a story that describes the possible lives of each maid. In many of these, Offred jumped over the past and the present. Because she reaffirmed the event that led to the decline of women 's rights and the details of the current life of her present life.

The movie began with the fact that Ophir was kidnapped forcibly by a soldier of Gilead and killed her husband. Then Offred was taken to a complete facility where she became a maid with other women. What did the maid learn? The low fertility rate of Gilead is revenge on God's sexual excess sex and the once devastated "disorder". The civil war that changed the United States to Gilead was a jihad and was fighting to restore God's rule on the earth. It is contrary to the will of God that women pursue equal rights to men. The most sacred and most noble responsibility of all maids is to have children

"Maid Story" is a story of a poet explaining the survival of a woman as a maid of the Republic of Gilead led by a male. Offred depicts the struggle as a maid, basically it is a walking uterus and a human slave. Women of Gilead are suppressed because they are seen as "strict management is necessary for potential threats and subversion" (Calawi 48). Through the caste system, rituals and other acts, fear of women's rebellion and social control is stopped
