Oedipus the King

For 30 years, Sophocles produced three plays with similar themes. One of the products is characterized by "Nobility to pursue knowledge and ultimately destroy him" (70). The audience in Athens was familiar with the first stories of the Edps royal family, but the audience was delighted to see the drama spread out in front of them. During the play, Sophocles to the audience through the hero, blindness is not necessarily limited to physical blindness, but said that it could also affect intelligence.

Oedipus - The hero of King Oedipus and Oedipus of Cologne. Before the action of King Edpses began, Edips was king of Thebes. King Oedipus is one of the most ironic dramas ever. Writer Sophocles is an ancient famous philosopher. The drama is about Ed Peps of King Thebes, who unconsciously killed his father and married his mother. God warned Kingbes of Thebes before Oedipus that his son would kill him. Therefore, when his wife Jocasta had a son, he exposed the baby to the mountain. Cithaeron initially nailed his ankle together (hence the name Oedipus, swell-leg). Shepherds expressed sympathy for babies adopted by King Paul Collins and his wife and brought up as their sons.

Works, King Oedipu is the Greek tragedy of Sophocles that happened in the Thebes kingdom. In 'Oedipus the King', Sophocles criticized the residents of Thebes in the form of Oedipus' speech, as the king mistakenly killed his father and incest with his mother. Therefore, this relationship seems to be tragic and unavoidable. During the play, King Oedipus, Sophocles used a dramatic sarcasm to shape the whole story. Fate and wealth have been acting with King Oedipus' life many times over and over again, but that can not be avoided.
