In Oedipus Rex, Sophocles explores the conflict between human intellectual reasoning and the universe that he holds. This seems to be generalized, but a small conflict in the play can be a derivative of the main struggle. As we have seen, destiny and destiny against Oedipus does not directly affect him, it produces domino effects.
