Oedipus and Hamlet as Father Figures

Edeps as Father, Hamlet Episp and Hamlet are two very famous people in literature. They stand out in the minds of readers through actions, conflicts, strengths and weaknesses. Readers are more involved in action through these two roles. They made us better understand the stories to our readers. In many respects, these characters have similar characteristics to each other, but the most prominent thing in my mind is the relationship with their father.

The image of the disease dominates Shakespeare's' Hamlet 'and Sophocles' play, and Oedipu, Hamlet and Oedipus face many death problems. Hamlet is looking for a father and a murderer of Edps. They believe that justice is not being done properly, they must find the murderers of their fathers to achieve justice. In Hamlet and Edips, there is great confusion in family relations, the internal problems they face, and the lack of their free will.

From the king of Oedipus to Hamlet, the relationship between the father and his son changed from Hamlet, whose son killed his father in Oedipus, to a son who loved his father and strongly wanted his father's revenge did. When death Hamlet first talked to his father's ghost, ghost dialogue "revenge his foul and the most unnatural murderer" (1.5.26).
