Odyssey (Book XI)

In Odyssey 's Volume 11, Odysseus painted a journey to Hades. He explained his conversation with the dead including blind prophet Tiresias. The prophet told Odysseus how to go home safely. He warned Odysseus of bad news about his men and his family. The prophecy of Tyrrsia is closely related to the three themes of the epic, Odysseus 'awkwardness, family problems, and Ithaca' s power struggle. All three themes are clear through epic, are related to Tiresias' prediction and prove their importance in Greek life.

The Oxford English Dictionary uses Homer as a source of English tradition. This explains that Ilisia Meadows is covered by Asford. In the translation of WHD Rouse, this article (Odyssey 's Volume 11) is expressed as "A beautiful Achilles ghost is roaming over the grass at Asford' s long pace." In the same translation of four volumes, the soul of the deceased person "The soul and ghosts of people came to the lawn of Asford in their work" Homer explained the experience of the dead soul, the lawn and its surroundings The environment that is being linked is linked and is described in the brief description of Circe at the end of Volume 11.
