Overweight and obesity trend data in 1999 - 2006 BRFSS in Illinois is closely related to national trend data on these conditions. These data reflect a sharp increase in the Illinois state obesity rate over the past 16 years and the national trend (Figures 4 and 5). Figure 4: Overweight trends in the US Body Mass Index in Illinois and 1990 - Regional comparison of 2006 2006 BRFSS data to Illinois states indicates that the highest rate of overweight and obesity in the rural areas of Illinois (63.4% ) (Figure 6). This is further explained in the 2001-2006 county map information provided by the Illinois BRFSS data. Here, the highest composite rate of overweight and obesity was seen in most rural areas (Figure 7).

Childhood obesity seems to be stable. Studies that are not focused on severe obesity may mask the correct shift in the body mass index distribution. Our goal is to provide current prevalence and to check trends in overweight, obesity, grade 2 obesity and grade 3 obesity in young people in Cincinnati, Ohio. A retroactive chart review of children aged 2 to 18 who were consulted at the Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center between 1 July 2011 and 30 June 2014 was conducted. Data were obtained from 217 037 BMI, 35.2% of children showed a rise in BMI. Senior, Hispanic, and Medicaid children have the highest prevalence. Contrary to the results of the nationwide survey, the only significant trend in 3 years was a decrease in grade 3 obesity (P = 0.02). Further study to assess which clinical / community efforts have brought this declining trend. This is important to determine future resources and promote sustained progress.
In Hong Kong, the overall proportion of childhood obesity is increasing. Appendix 1 shows the latest data on Hong Kong's childhood obesity. According to the "EatSmart@school.hk" campaign (2012a), the overall obesity rate has increased from 16.4% to 20.9% over the past 15 years. Data also indicate that boys tend to be obese, and males and females differ by about 5 to 10% with respect to obesity by males and females. In addition to government data, more information reflects the potential crisis of other diseases related to childhood obesity. In a cross-sectional study by the Chinese University of Hong Kong, about 6,600 children aged 6 to 13 years old were examined, it is shown that about 13% of boys and 11% of girls are obese (Sung, 2007).
